Our Services, what we have to offer here at Pennant Park Riding Centre.

The Pony Club

The Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organsiation for young people up to the age of 21 who are interested in ponies and riding. It allows young people to gain more experience with horses whether they own a pony or not.

The objectives of The Pony Club are:

To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding
To give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate Members to look after and to take proper care of their animal
To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self-discipline

Here at Pennant Park Riding Centre, we hold weekly meetings on a Saturday morning to teach all aspects of horse care and help encourage them to earn badges in specific areas such as grooming and feeding. Each meeting costs £5 per member. We hold Pony Club Badge Days where they are tested on what they have been learning and they receive a badge when they have passed. For members under the age of 8 years, mini badges can be achieved. As a Pony Club Centre, we hold competitions and events. We can invite other Pony Club Members from other centres and branches to compete against our members. For more information on The Pony Club, visit www.pcuk.org or contact us. All membership forms are obtained and submitted via Pennant Park Riding Centre. Membership costs £24.00 a year and includes third party public liability insurance.
